Everyone was so quick to criticize James for his argument. Personally, I was ready to completely dismiss every post that the Shaman had ever made -- posts that I had originally accepted as gospel. I was just losing faith in his authority, but then ...

... But then he goes 100% Rambo on all of us with a blatant statement of his minimalistic genius:

Throw away your Tuba Sonata, get down to Abilene, TX, and take a lesson, Paul Hindemith.

Come back, James!

Actually...what am I saying?

He'll be back to tell us all about the glorious Grad school he will be attending in the fall.

Just out of curiosity, James said he had "gotten into two [count 'em, two] gradschools thusfar."

Does anybody know which institutions?

It all depends. On where you are.

No! No! No! I'm not being facetious at all! I'm sure P. Hindemith was a cheerful and kind fellow (or something like that).
