Marzan String to Dubro Linkage Converstion

I've been thinking about doing this for some time. The string rotor mechanisms were working OK and I've never had a string failure. But... I was getting an annoying 'slap' once in a while from the string arm getting too close to the stop arm. Here's a picture:

I see 2 different set ups in your pics. Did you modify or is this 2 different horns?
