This is a very "band" heavy program, opening with Tocatta Marziale, a hefty undetermined march, Ticheli's Vesuvius, Another loud bring down the walls piece written by an air force arranger, Jeremy Martin, and a brand new transcription of the final movement from Messaein's Ascension. Oh yeah, and stuck in there is lil' ol' me playing Aldo Forte's Dance Rhapsody for Tuba and Band.

Bandtastic, 7:30pm, free and open to the public

The added bonus is that I've had a fever all day and can hardly breath without my chest rattling! Come see if I even survive the program!

Re: Air Force Band of Flight w/tuba solo KY tour
Oops.. that sounds a little egotistical. I meant to say, our museum shows always sell out.. tuba solo or not

Knock 'em dead on the Dance Rhapsody, John! I would love to hear a recording.
