Conn International 2300 BBb Tuba on eBay

Does anyone have an opinion on this model? This eBay listing seems like a decent tuba for the asking price. There must be a caveat at this price. What is it with this tuba? There are other old tubas that are in demand even dented up and tarnished, so this one seems like a lemon model. What is it that makes this one less desirable, so that he starts his price at $1899? A 186 or 187 in this condition would typically start at double that price. Some Conns seem to be in demand, but apparently this one is not. Why?

This is a B&S made horn. These usually plays very nice

Considering the number and quality of the feedback on the buyer, I wouldn't be all that surprised if one of the "locals" here bought it to re-sell at the public school level. There are a few BD's that really understand the value of a well-built, consistent, and in-tune BBb for use with students.
