HB-50 Dimensions! *HELP*

Post by Kory101 »

Hello all,

I am in a pickle of a jam. I am ordering a Walt Johnson flight case and they need the dimensions of the horn to make the horn fit nice and snug. Sadly, mine is being cleaned/repaired right now and I can't get the dimensions. Could any of you HB-50 owners or tuba nerds (I know there are others than just me!) out there fill out the attached dimension form for me and send me an email with the dimensions? I am very very desperate as I need to get this case ASAP for summer travels! Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Kory

Be cautious on this. They made changes to the horn in 1995. The later ones might be a tad taller. I'm not positive but there were a number of changes when they compared the rehearsal horn to the concert horn.

Just a thought.

Hi Kory,
Maybe I missed something. Did your repair shop refuse to measure the tuba for you? If it were me, I would call the shop, get their fax number, and fax the order form.
