Roland Meinl Tubas

Anyone know anything about these? Do they hold value? Or are they just average, basic, tubas.....and lose value over time.....

Hello,
Roland Meinl made quite good tubas. The Roland Meinl company is the same that is well known for cymbals and percussion.
I think the brass wind section of the company now is closed. I visited the Roland Meinl workshop in Markneukirchen Germany in
1995. They put together good rotary valve instruments. The piston instruments looked very Asian.....
I was told that the tubas were all German built. The Kaiser Bb I tried was very good! Very nice valves!

for one thing, it would have been Rudolf Meinl, but they are a different company.

I do know they make good cymbals! (The company, not the tubas.) I wasn't familiar with Roland tubas at all.
