I have no knowledge as to the educational institutions in Elvis, so I would not know if they had a university. The connection between Guatemala and tuba, though, is that they both contain the vowel "U".the elephant wrote:Elvis contains a one "U"?The Jackson wrote:both contains a one "U"

Re: HINT --- Re: Tuba Quiz Bowl On: Central America
Wonder why that did not show up when I was doing my search for the nine "Tuba Nodes" of the earth. Google Maps and Google Earth do not show it.LJV wrote:Heh, heh
HINT --- OK, the connection has to do with the activity of a somewhat "musical renaissance man." He played an important role in both musical worlds --- both of Guatemala and the tuba.
Side note: There is a Tuba (city), Guatemala, btw.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

WILHELM FRIEDRICH WIEPRECHT (1802—1872)
Credited for inventing the Bass Tuba (Bombardon) around 1835. Organized the Guatamalan Army Band (1852), as well as reorganizing the Turkish military band.
There is a wikipedia article on him
The Guatamala reference made it harder to find, as well it should have. If you were familar with Wieprecht, you might not have connected him with Guatamala.
