Solo Literature Suggestions
I am looking to expand my solo library, preferably intermediate to advanced tuba literature. Suggestions?

Re: Solo Literature Suggestions
Here are some that you could look into buying:
- Sonata for Tuba and Piano by Paul Hindemith
- Concerto for Tuba or Bass Trombone by Eric Ewazen
- Concertino for Tuba by Eugene Bozza
- Tuba Concerto by James Woodward
- Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra by John Williams
- Tuba Concerto by Martin Ellerby
- Concerto for Bass Tuba by Ralph Vaughan Williams
These are just a few. Most of those pieces are standard, but there are hundreds upon thousands of solo tuba repertoire. Hope this helps!

Re: Solo Literature Suggestions
I would also recommend getting the Tuba Concerto by Edward Gregson. It may not be as popular and well-known as the Ralph Vaughan Williams Concerto, but it is still a great solo piece and enjoyable to play.

Re: Solo Literature Suggestions
I played a solo this year and it was a lot of fun, "Introduction and Dance" by Barat.
