veiws counteer

Postby goodgigs » Sat Jun 20, 2009 10:17 pm

Several years ago Bloke posted the first pictures of My "Stealth Tuba" .
Since then I have told many people to "Google" stealth tuba.
When I do so I can't see a view count. I know I could post to it and thereby "bump" it to the front page,
but I was wondering if I could just get a view count by a less grandiose means?

Sorry I hadn't responded, Brian. Call it a moment of mental incapacitation on my part.

The only way I know of that you can see the view counter is to open the section that the post is in and scroll down to where it is, them look to the right in the column marked "Views". I'm assuming that the thread in question has gone a long way down the list and trying to scroll down to it could take quite a while. But if you just happen to have the URL for that thread, my suggestion is to open the thread and bump it back to the top. Then you can open the index again and look in the views column.
Hope this helps.

I just searched for "Stealth Tuba"
it came up with search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&keywords=stealth+tuba&start=48
Or 6967 views
"We can avoid humanity's mistakes"
"Like the tuba!"

Adam, once again your willingness to just use your computer for what it's
built for is somehow amazing to me! I guess I really do have a computer phobia.
I thought that post might be getting closed to 7000 views and I guessed right.
So how's that Martin project going? I think you might want to talk to Sam Gagney
about putting a high-bred duel bore system on it like he recently did. 8)
Anyway, once again, thank you man.

I'm sorry I haven't funded you production sooner. But I've been waiting until I had the cash on hand to get you started. All I need to do is win the lottery just one time and you'll be all set to start.
