There is a nice article in the San Jose Mercury News today about La Fanfare du Belgistan:

I am listening to their MySpace tracks right now - they have come up with a very interesting blend of Balkan Brass, Jazz, African rhythms and brass pop!

Saw a portion of their show at Palo Alto's Stanford Shopping Center - part of the SF Jazz Fest - and it was quite good! Interesting, original musical developments in a variety of styles, a much larger audience than I expected (well over 300 - maybe twice that) but they had run out of CDs for sale...

Look for them as they travel the world!
