In my playing days I performed this work at least 20 times. You don't need a recording. It is a GREAT piece. Buy it, play it, enjoy it. If you want to really have some fun with it, find a soprano sax player to play the clarinet part. While it can be a bit of a knuckle-buster on that particular instrument, the sonorities are quite different, and to my ears, better. YMMV.

I've looked at eMusic which has a big classical section and I couldn't even find Roger Vaughan. Nothing on YouTube either. I hope somebody gets a camera and throws a video of it up on YouTube. I'm very curious now to hear it.

btw tuba_penguin4 I think it would be better to lable your thread as
"Looking for a recording of Quattro Bicinie by Roger Vaughan"
As I was looking through the list of recent posts and saw "Looking for a recording...." I almost didn't take the time to check out your post. Then I would never have heard about this piece :shock:
