Re: CALL FOR SCORES
Dr. Palton,
Could you explain the judging process for the piece. Is the piece judged blindly by the judges? Is the piece judged by the judges looking at the score or is it judged by the Marshall Ensemble playing each piece?
Sorry to bug you, but these answers would temper what I submit.

Re: CALL FOR SCORES
Thank you for your inquiry.
All submissions will be judged anonymously by the judging panel. I will submit to them a hard copy of your score, a PDF file of your score, and a MIDI file of your composition. Your name is to be left off all entries and will simply be submitted as Contestant #1 etc. In the case of Oystein Baadsvik, he will be emailed everything. The panel will evaluate each composition given criteria of their choosing.
I hope this answers your questions. Feel free to post more questions or to contact me directly.

Re: CALL FOR SCORES
Is November 20th the post mark date or must you have them in your hands by that date?
