I have a 1A, it seems to be very bowl like in nature. It is also pretty damn big. Dwarfs my Parke Ofenloch.

Unrelated to original question: word on the street was Klier makes the Miraphone mp's, not sure if they still do. Matt at Dillon's probably knows a lot about these JK 'pieces since they sell them.
