Bruno Tilz M-2

Post by jma78 »

Hello Tubenetters,

I've read some interesting comments about the Bruno Tilz M-2 mouthpiece here on the board. And I'm thinking about ordering one to try.

If somebody have experience with BOTH Bruno TIlz M-2 AND Conn Helleberg 120S, could you please give some comments on these two. Is the TIlz M-2 smaller? How much smaller?

I'm using the Conn Helleberg as reference since I'm and I guess quite a few other tuba players are familiar with this mouthpiece.

Thanks for your input!

Please look here for a start to answer your question: http://www.dwerden.com/mouthpieces/tuba ... pare=32.50 This should give you some idea. It is always the place I start looking if I want to compare mouthpiece dimensions. This is the complete chart: http://www.dwerden.com/mouthpieces/tuba.cfm .
Always make a good sound; audiences will forget if you miss a note but making a good sound will get you the next job.
