I haven't played a 621 in a while, but I think the 653 is slightly bigger than that.

I believe T.J. has the one from Al's warehouse that was listed for quite a while. I had planned on lowballing the guy.
Even worse, the 4 banger dmmorris had for sale here.... about 2 weeks after it sold I received a check for just that amount!!
(The first link was a comparison of a 653 to other horns, obviously not the 5 valver.)

My pleasure. Contact me if you have any other questions regarding the 653 - it really is a fantastic horn, all the way 'round.LJV wrote:Thanks for posting "jonesbrass." I remembered and looked for your very pics, but couldn't find them.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LJV wrote:Hey all,
Does anyone have handy some pics of the little Cerveny 653 F? The standard issue Cerveny pics on the internet usually show a 4+1. I'm wondering about the 5 all in the rt hand version.
It would also be interesting to see one next other tubas for size comparison.
If you have some pics handy and wouldn't mind posting them, it would be a great help.
Thanks a bunch.
You shoulda just checked my Facebook.
