Mouthpiece Identification

Post by smyoung »

Here is a mouthpiece that I'd like to know more about. This piece made it into my random assortment of stuff back in middle school, but I don't know its maker or any other pertinent information about it. Any info about it would be greatly appreciated. Markings on the side (pictured) read: "A 44" and "Made in Czechoslovakia."

SPECS: (Sorry if I went overboard with the caliper. Bloke's thread a while ago inspired me to do it :))

Rim width: 7.25 mm/0.286 in
Inner rim diameter: 31.38 mm/1.236 in
Outer rim diameter: 45.80 mm/1.803 in
Throat diameter: 7.80 mm/0.307 in
Backbore diameter @ end of shank: 11.16 mm/0.439 in
Shank taper: 15.78mm-13.61mm/0.621-0.536 in
Overall length: 85.43 mm/3.363 in

I imagine that it will only take someone a second to identify it. I can post additional photos if anyone would like more clarity.

Thank you,
Stephen

Looks like a old Cerveny mouthpiece to me, but I could probably be wrong
