Bloke,
I saw that and was the early bidder. Anyone ever use one of these?

I played in a brass quintet in grad school that had a horn player that used one of those monsters on a Paxman descant horn. She was a killer player and swore by that mouthpiece. I have never seen anyone else use one. The tuba mp has my attention. Has anyone ever seen one of these things? Is it huge like the FH mouthpiece?
All I can think about is that gigantic mouthpiece that Lee Stofer has. I realized after playing that thing that I was something less than a man. Lee sounds great on it.

Neill was teaching at WMU when I was a student there in the '70s, and he had some of us in the tuba studio play on the prototypes for several years and let him know what we thought of them. That "funnel rim" was the most comfortable thing I'd ever played on -- wish I still had it!
