Charlotte Tuba Euphonium, Reading Session,Sat.20th

Hey all,

The next reading session of the Charlotte Tuba Euphonium Ensemble is Sat. Feb.20. It will be held at Park Road Baptist Church, 3900 Park Road, Charlotte, 28209. We will begin reading at 10:30 am and will finish at 12:00 (noon). It is just a reading session and everyone is invited no previous participation is required. No commitment just bring your instrument, come and play some tuba/euph ensemble music.

We will be reading nine new works (new to me but some of you may have read them in another tuba group), two of them we didn't get to in January and seven that have arrived since then. Plus of course giving those pieces that we did read last month a much better reading. Also I hope that Sarita will be bringing a couple of dance tunes that she has in her library.

I hope that you can make it. If you can please let me know so I can enough music for everyone. Those of you who were at the January reading session please bring your folders with you. The rest of you let me know soon so I will have time to make a folder for you.

For those of you who don't know, we have been hired to perform at a brass festival on May 1, at Callaway Gardens/Pine Mountain, Ga. Let me know if you are interested in participating.
