Boosey and Hawkes Eb tuba

Post by Steve Inman »

It depends on the model number. Could you post more information about the particular tuba you are discussing?

If this is one of the 3+1 compensating Eb tubas, with the 19 inch bell, then I think $3400 US would be a good price -- especially if it is in "new" condition.

Thanks,

Are you sure you don't mean "Boosey and Hawkes"? That'd be Besson as it used to be marketed in the UK.

Whatever--

If it's a 3+1 compensating Boosey Imperial, $3400 is a decent price for one. Even better if it's got the big (19") bell (I don't recall when they began being produced that way).

Dan, repeat after me:

"Muh-neesh-tah-nah Hah-lye-lah Hah-zeh?"

There you go. Now you're all set for Pesach (Passover).

Let me know if you need any further help!

Best Regards,
Steven
