I saw that a while ago and sent them a message asking about it. They still haven't replied, so I dunno...

Yes, but do these particular variants retain the Alex tone?

Pete DuBeau in the Virginia Symphony has a recording and upright bell for his Alex. 23 inches and it curves back before going forward like a ?

Re: Alex w/ Recording Bell?
By happy accident I happened to call Best Music last week. They said the tuba is a CC and is a consignment. They said it is in very fine condition.
I'm not related to the store or anything...I bought a Jupiter 582L from them and have been very pleased with my experience with Best Music. The times I've visited their store they've always had several new and used tubas. Their salespeople have all been very helpful and pleasant.
The ? bell makes me want to see it in person.
