Not likely to find much in the way of tubas to play, but might possibly find some good music to read and possibly some mouthpieces depending on where you'll be. Denver: Flescher Hinton on Tennyson Ave. and Music and Arts (?) are Colorado Springs: Grainer Music on the east side of town and a nice place downtown across the street from Acacia Park. If you are in Colorado Springs and head downtown there is a wonderful tuba fountain in Acacia Park that goes off every half hour or so during warm weather called Uncle Wilbur. There is also a real friendly store in downtown Grand Junction though the name escapes me at the moment if you're on the western slope.

It has been some time since I've been there to buy my York Master, but Kolacny Music in Denver (http://www.kolacnymusic.com/" target="_blank) might be worth a phone call to see what's in the store.

Maybe not in Colorado, but in colours:

They are even said to have a rare Swiss made instrument in stock.
