Re: stagg tubas
I don't have an experience with the tubas but I've done repairs to their trombones, saxophones, and F horns. Those instruments seem 'OK' but suffer from the same lack of workmanship that I see on many other imports. Price-wise, they are not all bad but prepare to spend a little time fiddling with slide alignment, cleaning buffing compound from the inside, and dealing with general 'fit & finish' issues.
By-the-way... Stagg seems to have good parts support... that's a GOOD thing.
