What a neat event for you! My wife and I have enjoyed so much attending the Eroica Ensemble concerts
at Lambuth College in Jackson, TN over the past few years. Absolutely wonderful. They are scheduled there this coming
Sunday, the 28th for a concert. Will you be performing with them? Would be great to get to meet you, we'll be there.

Congrats!
It has not happed to me on tuba. However, for the three years I was lead guitar player for a contemporary service, with a musical director who had a rotation of about a dozen singers so that choosing music that fit any particular voice was not an issue, would routinely choose music to feature my guitar playing, whether in ensemble context, solo context, or solo/accompanimental context.
