New Jupiter Compensating Euphonium

Post by euphomate »

WWBW have just started advertising a new professional-level Jupiter compensating euph. Named the 1270XO it comes with impressive specs: a .590 - .660 inch dual bore, 12.2 inch bell, stainless steel valves, and starts at $3940. At that price it would be worth a look. Has anyone seen one somewhere?

I think I played it at Midwest. I don't really remember anything bad about it. :D They also had a tie-died 983 copy.
The Jupiter Thayer bass trombone rocked though!

Dillon had one at TUSABTEC.

IMO, the Dillon and Tuba MM stencils were more open and responsive, and slotted better above high Bb (concert).

$1500 cheaper, too.
