On April 9, 2010 at 8pm The Boston Conservatory of Music's Wind Ensemble conducted by Eric Hewitt will be premiering "Concerto for Tuba and Wind Orchestra" by Tolga Yayalar with soloist Nathan Turner (West Point Concert Band) at Northeastern University's Fenway Center. Admission is free.
Yayalar's "Concerto" is an extremely challenging, approximately 20 minute work that really pushes the limits of the tuba. You will not be disappointed!
