We have now discussed this thing for half a year. Time for someone to buy it. I would have to think that the seller is legit. This price is too good.

I would buy it but I just picked up a RM 5/4 thundertub for my own personal enjoyment (and ego deflation).

Me thinks someone is going to get a killer deal on this thing.

If it was in the States, I would probably bite, but it's located in Israel, and that has headache written all over it.

Seems as if the selling service is up to speed on sending things to US.

I really wish I had a reason to buy this horn.

Hey Cameron,
Congrats on the Rudy 5/4!!
I have a 5/4 in BBb, Rudolf Meinl's are awesome horns!
Still haven't settled on a mouthpiece for it,
the two finalist are a Dillon G5 and a #2 Blokepiece, both in Euro shank. :tuba:
I should test it with a Loud as well, I have had good luck with Giddings & Websters on other horns,
but I have tried a Alan Baer CC and a Bayamo Euro, just not what I am listening for.
Cheers,

This tuba has been for sale, off and on, for several years. The owner used to post it often on Tubenet and Bassclef brass. He has (had???) an Alexander F tuba he was trying to sell also.

Like others have said, the transaction being conducted from Israel is probably keeping lots of interested folks in the US away.

It is an interesting tuba and the price is reasonable, in my opinion.

G-Bass, I WAS in the same boat. My old standby mouthpiece (since the FDR administration) was not doing it for me. I have used this MP with everything and have found it to be the only one I want to play on.....usually. I found a Rudy M-0 mouthpiece and tried it. WOW, big difference. I then contacted Lee Stofer and he sent me a Rudy M-10. I use it now. It cleared up many things. It fits the receiver and the horn very well. At least for me.

As for the foreign sale - Yes, I know it is in another country. However the selling service that is selling the horn does seem to be up on things. I have been in contact with this guy in the past and he seems totally legit and a responsible ebay'er.
