Looking for a tuba

Post by tclements »

Friends,

Years ago, I purchased a MW Bill Bell Model CC, and I was wondering where it ended up. I sold it to Gary Buttery in about 1976 for a student of his. It has a removeable upright bell (I intended to buy a forward bell at some time) and the 5th valve is on the left hand. Larry Minick rigged up a thumb lever under the right thumb, that engaged the 5th valve with a string across the back. The first valve was vented by Minick also. Originally, it came with a hard case with red lining.

Is that old horn of mine out there somewhere? Thanks!

He might still have it. I sent you a PM with what I knew.
All the best.
