Without giving too many details...I dont have to worry about colic. My children are older than that. The joys of being a foster parent....

New taxes were just passed here in New York (state and city)... cigarettes here in the city will now cost almost $11 per pack.

I am NOT a smoker, and don't really care if (most) other people do or don't. But *damn*!

The sun is shining, the sky is a crystal clear blue, the grass is nice and green, and the birds are singing. Now that it is summer, I hope we do not have any more spring storms. Time to enjoy the lazy days of summer.

...and the sun don't set until after 9:00! (I'll bet the afterglow over the mountains is great!)

Sounds a lot better than hot concrete...

Experiments still running that require 24-hour monitoring. Tired. Mortalities in the fish. Both larval and adult. Larval as expected and predicted (which is exciting); adults unexpected (though not surprising) and unfortunate.

Have a great time!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun! *So* much different from playing in a band, I liked it a lot. Hope I get more chances in the future.

The insurance company totaled out the '04 Honda with 103,305 miles on it for $10 K. So checked the internet and found a nice Subaru Forrester - Parson's Gray - and made a down payment on it. We will pick it up Saturday in Billings, after the Fishtail Days Parade and practice, and after Susan finishes with her mail route.

Cool. One of these days I'll get around to gun ownership. I just fear that, like tubas, I will become interested and start collecting, and *gasp* find another online forum for gun owners! :)

Forget gun ownership - where is our constitutional protection to own and play low brass instruments? What are YOU going to do when the government tries to take away your tubas???
