BTW.... I received a call from Wichita Band Instrument a couple of days ago. They were looking for a buyer for a Buescher 'jumbo'.

Well Kiltie Tuba and Tubatinker, when are either of you going to take the plunge and invest in this instrument?

Inquiring minds want to know.
Beginning again to be a tuba player.

Not I. I had a chance at the Buescher BEFORE it went to auction. I also passed on the 4V Buescher that Sam G sold a month or so ago. I like the big Conn sousaphone but am not much of a fan of the Bueschers, Kings,... or anything else for than matter.
