ITEA is delighted to announce that the 2012 International Tuba Euphonium Conference will be held in the city of Linz, Austria, from June 25 to June 30. The venue for the conference will be the famous Brucknerhaus set on the banks of the River Danube. The host is the Landesmusikdirektion of Upper Austria and the Artistic Director will be Steven Mead.
More details will follow in the coming months! This promises to be a very exciting conference on every level!

Now this is great news. That´ll be a 4-5 hour drive from where I live.
I still like to think about the great times I had in Budapest 2004.
Back then, I kinda stumbled over the event (I actually won a lottery that paid for my stay there).
This time I ´ll go there with more purpose/focus.
