I use the plastic sousa for lots of outdoor things and even some inside Dixieland gigs. There's a HUGE difference between the 16 pound 'Commode-O-phone' and the 4V 'jumbo'.... 'bout 30 pounds!

I'll probably keep this red, white, and blue Selmer/Buescher/Bundy sousa because I use it in a series of Spring youth educational programs. But.... I'm giving serious thought to taking the 4V valve section off the 'franken-helicon' and putting it onto a fiberglass body and using a shorter bell.
