I recently got a King 1241 bell front that has USN - SS7 engraved on the bell. Didn't think they had bands aboard submarines!

At one time, many military band instruments were marked by extra engraving at the factory. The US Navy used, "USN", The US Army, "USQMC" (United States Quartermaster Corps, who were the supply people that issued the instruments), and I have seen a few WWII-era US Army Air Corps instruments that were marked, "US". There may have been other markings, too.
It is possible that the sousa bell is from 1958, but I suspect that it is older than the instrument body. Most military engravings seem to date from the 1910's through 1945, and I have seen little, if any naked lady engravings on instruments made after 1955.
