I am finally retiring from my career as a band teacher. One of the items that must go is my model 202N, St. Petersburg Tuba, which is the instrument of choice those who wish a 4/4, four rotary valve, Great tone, great response, great intonation, This is the ideal tuba for a mid-level or pro player. Interesting post as my son lives in S.D. and it would be an easy transfer. HOWEVER ... the phone # on the craigslist ad is a "615" area code which is actually a Tennessee area code. Now, I have kept a cell phone number when moving between states but seems unlikely for someone who is retiring (unless they moved to El Cajon for their retirement years). Guess I should call and end the mystery. =D

I just can't imagine anyone just giving away a free tuba like that in this economy. The St. Pete BBb is a decent horn for the money. I group them with the 4/4 size 4 valve Amatis/Cervenys.
