Having items sell and the deal not go through is tremendously frustrating. I feel for the guy. I've just about brought that to an end by blocking bidders who don't have PayPal. That has reduced my non-paying bidders from almost 40% to basically zero. But I do wonder if it reduces selling prices.

If it sells for that opening bid, that could be a pretty good deal for someone.
