Hey all,
I was just looking for a fun tuba duet to play with my friend for a joint recital we are having in November. We're looking for some type of...goofy, fun duet that is enjoyable for the audience to listen to! If you have any suggestions, I appreciate it, and if you have a place to listen to it, I'll really appreciate it!!
Thanks!

If you've got a pianist you might check out http://www.baadsvik.com/index.php?page= ... &Itemid=89" target="_blank" target="_blank
Anna Baadsvik's three pieces are fun and tchnically challenging.
There's a neat set of tuba duets by Robert Elkjer at http://www.robertelkjer.com/" target="_blank" target="_blank
Volumn 1 has some light music examples.
I've done some from both these sources and audiences enjoyed them.

If you're looking for something truly goofy, you could look at the Tommy Pedersen bass trombone duets. They're not challenging, but are definitely fun to play. ....My favourite is The Walrus Ordered Waffles

Check out these duets by Sanae Kanda for two tubas or two euphoniums or tuba and euphonium.

Many of these are just plain fun:

Four of them were performed last spring at Eastman School of Music in a recital.
