Hanson 2 has a part; not difficult, but it's a beautiful romantic American work that almost never gets played.

Re: Fountains: Of course it's worth the effort to drag that bad boy into the woodshed, but in performance, the organist plays along with you using his feet, and most likely not much of what you play will be heard over him. He's got ConEd on his side. :D

This is spot on. Fountains is MUCH less traumatic in the orchestra than in an audition.
