Many here are fans of the 20J Conns. Here are three which are pretty good and have cases:

All three of them are in reasonable condition. Lots of use scars but no big dents and wangs. Bells have that bent edge look but a good tech could fix that in about 30 mn. Lacquer is passable. Cases in good shape.
Lots of pictures so you can see everything.
$1350 BIN each. $150 Shipping.

Re: Three decent 20J Conns
I don't regard $1,350 as being an exceptionally good price for these horns.

Would this be a bad time to mention that it's actually 10% off the original price of $1,500 right now?TubaTinker wrote:I don't regard $1,350 as being an exceptionally good price for these horns.

Nope, they march only SILVER 20J's. I found out when I contacted them to see if they would be interested in purchasing my 20J. At first, the gentleman was very excited. Then he received my photos--and realized that the horn I was selling was lacquer.bloke wrote:Watch out for Jacksonville State...!!
BTW, my 20J with its original Conn 2-piece hard case sold for far less than $1,350 asking price on the 'Bay. I got paid as much as I expected to get for the horn.
