Re: Miraphone 184 CC?
Might just be a newer (or retrofit) one with a flat whole step instead of a 23 fifth slide.

Re: Mirafone 184 CC?
It's hard to tell but that 5th wrap looks too long for a flat step.

Looks like a 180 to me. I'd like to own this one: love the feel of playing well aged miraphone horns.

Re: Mirafone 184 CC?
Like other folks have said, that's a Mirafone 180 F tuba, not a 184.

No if about it. That's an F tuba.Tubajason wrote:Due to the lack of information provided it looked a lot like my 184, but if that is a 180 it makes a lot of sense looking at the difference in the 5th valve slide.

Re: Mirafone 184 CC?
I just learned that this is James Tubashaman's old Miraphone 180 F tuba. He traded or sold it last year, and now that person (or later) is selling it.

Re: Mirafone 184 CC?
At the risk of sounding repetitive, it is a 180-5U F tuba.
