I was wondering if anyone here has played one of these and how it sounds . Also it has serial number of 09732. Is that number specific to just the Canadian Brass horns or is it numbered with all the 2975 as they were being made ?

Re: Canadian Brass euphonium for sale at ebay.

Looks very similar to my Willson made Marzan, yet with two distinct differences.
The Marzan has a push-rod assumedly for the left thumb to adjust the main tuning slide, which points upwards like the CB one pictured above here.
The Marzan doesn’t have its 4th loop below the valve block. The 4th tuning slide is narrow like the main one, and it sits next to the main slide just below and behind the top bow.
My left thumb doesn’t like the push rod for the main slide. Rather I put the front end of my palm on the top bow and stick that left thumb through the 4th slide, which I can manipulate for the low C and B natural that way.
It is hard to tell, but I tend to find the Marzan slightly leaner in sound than my YEP-641.
