Contacts / help for SxSW, Texas 2011

Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone had any contacts at South by South West festival in Austin, Texas? I play with these guys and we'd love to get there next year:

Any ideas of who could perhaps help us with gigs or contacts? In return I'll be able to help with contacts in the UK

One way of doing it is going to the bars directly. If you go through the website that will get you listed but to be honest people are just wondering 6th looking for something cool. Also, a lot of those bands do their own street promos. I'd try getting in touch with the East 6th Street bars, this is where most of the action is. The Parish, Roux, and Blind Pig would be my first choices. Management at the first two places has changed a lot but B-Stew is the guy at the pig to talk to. You could also have some luck calling up The Elephant Room or Momo's. There is also a cool new place called Kung Fu Saloon that may also work well for you. Gary Sanchez is the guy to get in touch with there.I've lost touch with some of them so i can't get you their personal numbers but calling the bars wouldn't be a bother. I hope this helps a bit.

After posting I completely forgot to list a few more places!
Six Lounge- Phil Vuong
Beso Cantina-Darren Combie, Leo Velarde
And District 301- Thomas James, Rickey Davis.

These three had awesome line ups last year!
Just call them and see what they say.
