Since there are only a few hours left on the auction I would not be comfortable ending it early for a private sale. (Not that you asked.)
I had it in the for sale section on TubeNet for about two weeks without any luck, just low ball offers.

Seriously, this is a really good deal on a good instrument. I've been toying with getting into bass trombone playing for a while, and if I were a little farther along getting approval for an instrument purchase from the CFO at home . . .
