PacMan & Sousaphones Rose Parade float

Post by David Richoux »

So I saw this while zooming through the Rose Parade coverage - naturally no mention of the 30 or so Sousaphones (playing the theme song, I guess... couldn't hear over the announcer chatter.)

By the way, KTLA.com has pretty good band-centric info on the parade each year - it seems to be overloaded right now.

This update just discovered!

and:
In addition to this colorful floral masterpiece, the exciting celebration will be extended out onto the street with the music of the first ALL sousaphone band ever to appear in the Rose Parade. Each sousaphone will be topped with images of PAC-MAN from the game itself. This very unusual, fun band will be performing a lively version of the 80’s musical hit, “PAC-MAN Fever” which is enhanced with the familiar sounds of the game itself.
