Since you missed my point by a country mile, let me explain. It is my opinion that the statement "Bach trombone sound is the best" is not necessarily true. It is Bloke's opinion that it is true. I disagree with Bloke. We are both entitled to our respective opinions.

Which Bach sound? I've owned 5, (1974, 1985 and 1995 42B, 1970? and 1993 50B) and they were all very different sounding and feeling instruments. Give me a cold war era Olds and I am a happy camper.

Nope. Just correcting false statements. I really don't care what these guys play on because they would be able to make student trombones sound amazing.
