Heavyweights Brass Band website launch

Post by kontrabass »

Hey guys,

Just wanted to spread the word that my New Orleans-style brass/funk band, the Heavyweights Brass Band, just launched our brand spankin' new website.

Check it out here and let me know if you guys have any feedback.

Thanks!

I like it! More bass than my computer speakers could handle.

Is that a microphone on the sousaphone bell? What kind of setup is it (mike and amp)? I like how the tuba is loud and clear.

Thanks Walter - yeah it's just an SM58 that I duct-taped to the bell, through the house amp which was a MarkBass something-or-other. The recordings were mixed and EQ'd to give it more pop too :)
