It's a good horn. It would be worth stripping and leaving raw.

Every time I see that Cervey F I want to commit Grand theft! I tried one of those and it still rings in my mind as the best F ever... but I need to try one again before ordering/saving up for one.

I'll have to try that strip on the York Eb sousaphone I have with white paint!
