mouthpiece for Miraphone 1292

Post by tubaman1019 »

Hey all. I'm currently playing on a pt-88+ but i feel like I want something with a bit more weight in the low register. I feel the the pt on my miraphone gets a little bright too quickly in the low register. I've tried out a MF3B so far and I really like the sound I get out of that mouthpiece. Any other suggestions on any other heavy mouthpieces like the the MF? thanks :D

At the moment, I have a 1292 sitting in my practice room. A medium large, funnel cup, euro shank mouthpiece works best.

I used a G&W Baer for years and years... and never really found it necessary to wander from there.
