Do you have a link where I could actually hear PitchBlak Brass Band actually playing? Perhaps I am very unhip, terminally old-fashioned, or something, but I don't understand this posting of band visuals with unrelated music blasting over it.

I'd like to echo Walter's post above. I'm 75, crabby, and old so I don't understand what the hell your video is about. It seems to glorify a bunch of electronics. This is a brass site, guys. Let us hear some brass.

I sympathize with the band here - the director of the video must have wanted to show something to a wider audience some of us geezers might not quite understand. If you look at some of the previous PitchBlak video clips you will find some interesting modern "hot brass" mixed with vocalists and a bit of electronics.

This is one (of the many) directions younger musicians are taking brass performance - I have been trying to keep aware of it as much as I can, but it is an amazingly expanding universe, especially for adventuresome Sousaphone players!
