Alex stolen near KC

Post by bigboymusic »

Alex 163 CC stolen in St. Joseph, MO. This horn was built in '57ish, of course has no serial #, but will be easy to spot. The horn was overhauled by Alexander in 1980 and was silver plated. It has 5V, the 5th on the left hand. They didn't take the case . It does have one good dent on the bottom bow and has some wear in the silver by the thumb ring.

WOW. REALLY sorry to hear about this. I'm sure all your Tube Net friends will keep their eyes peeled. Make sure you file a police report as this goes to ALL pawn shops. Should it show up at a pawn shop, the shop keeper files a full report. If a silver Alex shows up on Craig's list of eBay, ONE of us will see it. Also, piut a post up on FB and on the tubaeuph Yahoo group. Good luck!

It is such a unique item that it should be easy to find in the regular marketplaces. I hope you find it soon.
