I should be at the convention this year. However, I WILL be there for dinner at Sea Island and possibly a jam session (?)

I expect to be there. I hope someone will post time and place for a tubenet meeting. I think Sea Island was mentioned.

That info will help me plan when to be there if not for the entire show.

Red Rudy will be with me as I will be playing in a concert in that area that week, but I don't know if He gets to the Gonzales Center because of size/weight.

Yes "He" not She." Pretty masculine horn.

Haven't made a TMEA since 1977. Maybe one of these days I'll get there again. Just too far from Oregon!

My daughter, Jenna, and her husband, Chris, are there. They are both band directors in Austin. My son, Chris, a euphonium major at UNT, is there also. Someday, I'll make it to this event. If it was up my daughter, we'd be living there already!!

Wish I could've gone...but alas I was exhausted from being at TMEA all day, and I don't have a horn with me at the moment. I played several horns today, so I'll be glad to give my personal opinions when I have some more time.
