The University of Texas-Pan American Music Department will be hosting an event to honor the career of Luis Maldonado on Feb. 25-26 in the Fine Arts Auditorium at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg TX. Guest artists for the event are Matt Tropman, Fritz, Kaenzig, and Jerry Young. The event will include a guest artist recital, master classes, a mass ensemble concert (bring your horns), and a Grand Finale Concert featuring the guest artists with the UTPA Symphonic Band as well as the UTPA Brass Ensemble and Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble. All events are free and open to the public.
